Troubleshooting method of rotary drill power head
The power head is the main working part of the rotary drilling rig. In case of failure, it often needs to be shut down for maintenance. In order to avoid this situation and not delay the construction progress, it is necessary to learn as many troubleshooting methods of the power head of the rotary drilling rig as possible.
1.The overflow valve on the power head oil seat is stuck or damaged, and the overflow pressure is too low. This situation often has the characteristics of normal no-load rotation, weak load rotation or no movement. Usually, the valve plug is stuck because the owner does not pay attention to the daily maintenance of the rotary drilling rig and does not replace or filter the hydraulic oil for a long time. Such faults can be eliminated by cleaning the valve core of the safety valve, readjusting the pressure of the safety valve or replacing it.
2.The overflow pressure of the main valve safety valve is too low. Release the pressure to the main safety valve and pressure reducing valve of each valve of the power head.
3.The power head is weak. This fault can be eliminated by readjusting the relief pressure of the main relief valve or the power head valve relief valve.
4.Due to the long service time of the machine, the main pump is worn too much, resulting in low system pressure. In this case, all actions of the whole machine will be weakened, so only the main pump can be replaced.
5.The power consumption of the power head motor is too large, and the high and low voltage chamber is greasy, resulting in too low relative pressure at the motor inlet and oil return port, resulting in abnormal rotation of the power head. In this case, only repair or replace the motor.
6.The bolts connecting the hub and slewing ring are cut off. This situation can be judged by listening to whether there is metal friction sound in the power head box. The root cause of this failure is that the bolt does not reach the design pre tightening torque during assembly.
7.The proportional reducing valve on the handle is seriously worn, and excessive leakage leads to abnormal rotation of the power head. Due to excessive leakage of the proportional reducing valve, the main valve core cannot be fully opened, and the power supply of the power head motor is insufficient, which may cause the power head to rotate slowly. The proportional reducing valve needs to be replaced at this time.
